Our facility is based on the pedagogy of Maria Montessori*, an exceptional Italian doctor who, through her own observations of children, created a method that supports the cognitive and emotional development of a child while maintaining great respect for the youngest.
Children come into the world with enormous cognitive abilities. They have an innate curiosity about the world, an absorbent mind and a strong, natural desire to learn. They learn through experience, imitation and internal motivation.
Maria Montessori’s methodology is undoubtedly focused on developing the potential of each child. It takes into account the individual pace of development and interests of the individual.
In our facility, the child learns through action, works at their own pace, gets to know the world by engaging all five senses. They develop internal motivation, a sense of agency, concentration and self-discipline. They learn respect for themselves and others, care for the environment. They work both independently and in a group. They can work in silence.
The teacher, on the other hand, follows the child. Supports, does not impose. They take care of the child’s social, emotional and cognitive development. Inspires and moderates.
